Having moved from Ireland in 2021, Jono is now based in Snowdonia, North Wales. He provides the majority of his guiding and instruction here. He also runs bespoke courses and events in Ireland, Scotland, and further afield on request.

From Jono…

“Hello, I’m Jono, and I originally come from Co. Wicklow, Ireland. I have been instructing and coaching rock climbing for the past twelve years, sharing my passion of what I love doing most in life. Climbing has brought me on many adventures both home and abroad, providing me with unforgettable memories  and life changing experiences, in many wild and beautiful places.

By following my passion, it is my wish to share my knowledge and experience with others. To provide them with the opportunities to learn and experience the world of rock climbing for themselves, safely and confidently. I thrive to inspire others to make that connection with the natural world and the beautiful landscapes and mountains we visit for outdoor activities.

Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to coach and train climbers of all types, from beginner & advanced climbers, to top youth climbers competing internationally on the Irish climbing team. I find the best part of learning, is sharing what you know, and with this I share my world of climbing with anyone and everyone.”
